Laura Holland, MS, LMT has been working in the field of health and wellness for over 25 years.
She began her career as a Licensed Massage Therapist with a specialty in pediatric massage and palliative care for children with special health care needs. She incorporated her advanced trainings in a variety of hands-on modalities to improve mind-body awareness and increase sensory integration.
Laura received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus in Child Development. She continued her education by completing a Master of Science in Health Education with a concentration in working with special populations and health disparities for individuals with disabilities. She recently completed a post-graduate program in Sexuality Education at the University of Michigan School of Social Work and is a Nationally Certified Sexuality Educator through AASECT.
Over the last decade she has taught several community college courses as adjunct faculty in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and at the New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, NY.
Currently, Laura is concentrating primarily on teaching courses in Healthy Relationships and Human Sexuality to people of all abilities. These courses are offered in her private practice, community-based settings and in public schools. She also provides support to parents in community workshops “How to Talk to Your Kids About Sex”, and in small group parent training sessions.
Laura enjoys hiking, kayaking, running, nature photography, and spending time in the great outdoors with her family, and her Labradoodle Newman, who is currently being trained as a Therapy Dog.
