Laura Holland, MS, LMT, is a highly experienced health and wellness professional with over 30 years of expertise in massage therapy, health education, and sexuality education. She has a strong foundation in hands-on therapeutic techniques, holistic health, and wellness coaching, allowing her to support individuals of all ages and abilities in achieving optimal well-being. Through mind-body awareness, informed health choices, and balanced living, Laura is dedicated to empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to enhance their physical health, emotional well-being, and sexual wellness.
Her career began as a Licensed Massage Therapist, where she developed expertise in medical massage therapy, Thai Yoga Massage, and integrative bodywork. She brings a comprehensive approach to massage therapy, combining advanced techniques to promote relaxation, mobility, and overall well-being.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on human development and behavior and a Master of Science in Health Education, emphasizing preventative health, lifestyle wellness, and community health initiatives. She is a Nationally Certified Sexuality Educator (AASECT) and completed a postgraduate program in Sexuality Education at the University of Michigan School of Social Work. She provides inclusive, comprehensive evidence-based education on sexual health, healthy relationships, consent, and communication. With a trauma-informed approach, she empowers individuals to develop a positive, well-informed understanding of sexuality and sexual health.
As an experienced educator, Laura has taught massage therapy courses at community colleges in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and at the New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, NY. She currently offers workshops, courses, and coaching in health and wellness, healthy relationships, and human sexuality, serving individuals of all backgrounds in private practice, community programs, and educational settings. Additionally, she leads parent workshops such as “How to Talk to Your Kids About Sex”, providing families with the tools to engage in meaningful and age-appropriate conversations about health and relationships.
Outside of her professional work, Laura enjoys hiking, kayaking, running, and nature photography. She spends her free time exploring the outdoors with her family and her two Labradoodles, Newman and Kevin McCallister, who are both currently being training as a therapy Dogs.
