A Journey to Wellness
Raising a child with a disability can be an overwhelming task for many families. Finding resources for parents and families can feel daunting. Parents often feel isolated and alone in their search for answers to help their children navigate through the daily challenges of living with a disability.
As the parent of a child with a disability, I have experienced frustration and despair while seeking out professionals to educate and support my son and our family on this journey. I have devoted the last 23 years to becoming educated in specialty diets for optimal nutrition, sensory integration techniques to balance the neurological system, hands-on modalities to increase range of motion and decrease spasticity, and sexuality education to support self-advocacy, healthy relationships, and independence.
As a Health Educator, I am committed to guiding people of ALL abilities on their personal journeys to have healthy relationships, optimal wellness, sexual self-advocacy, and to live meaningful lives.
